Why we are recruiting

As many might know (or not), most of the raiders in ECC left to join another guild and shortly after new (old) management moved in. ECC is now run by and consisting of mostly old members from 3-5 years ago. We have only been accepting old members back into the guild the past month, but we are now opening recruitment in order to do some 25 man raiding.

After most of us decided to play again some weeks ago we have been raiding 10 man ICC where we have cleared 11/12 so far and we would like to expand into 25 man raiding again. Our goal is to raid 2-3 nights a week until Cataclysm after which we might raid more or less depending on the state of the guild.

If you apply to join ECC, please keep in mind that we are unable to do any 25 man raids until we have enough players so there will probably be a wait as we do not want to simply fill our guild with warm bodies just to be able to raid.

About ECC

ECC has been a guild since the first european beta of WoW and has a long and rich history as one of the original guilds on Mazrigos. We originally came from Stormreaver and had a period on Vek'nilash, but Mazrigos has been our home for the most part of the past 5 years.

If you want to raid (casually) with a bunch of people who dont take themselves very seriously and have fun on vent while doing some raids then this is the place for you. The only things we take seriously is raiding and guild conduct. If you are easily offended and cant handle a vent filled with laughter then you should go elsewhere.

Please note that casual does not mean lazy, just because we are only raiding 3 nights a week doesnt mean we want to spend those nights licking the floor because of people who cant play properly or prepare properly.

When it comes to Gearscore, we arent really that interested in it. Its more interesting that you know how to gear your character and why an item is good for you than having the largest e-peen on the block.

Nah, we took up casual 10mans and it has now become 25 man.
